Oyo State witnessed a historic moment as the Rental Service Association gathered for the very first time to celebrate its anniversary in a grand event that brought together men, women, youths, and elders under one roof on Octoter, 1 2025. The occasion marked a new beginning for the rental business in the state, reinforcing their slogan: “No Rental, No Ceremony.”

A United Celebration in Style

The event was held at one of the prestigious event centers owned by B and K Ogunmola, providing a perfect setting for the colorful gathering. Members chose brown-colored materials as their uniform attire, symbolizing unity, strength, and growth in the rental industry.

Women at the Forefront

The celebration was spearheaded by two influential women from the Agunpopo zone – Ayoola Rafiat, popularly known as Asake Rental, and Success Rental. Their outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry stood as proof of the saying, “What a man can do, a woman can do better.”
Through their efforts, the anniversary not only became a memorable gathering but also a statement of empowerment for women in the business.

Awards and Recognitions

Several notable members were honored for their contributions to the rental industry. Among the awardees were Kolade Rental and Surulere Rental, who received recognition for their dedication and service. Vendors and supporters were also appreciated, including suppliers such as the well-known dealer of Altak chairs, who provides essential equipment for members.

In addition to plaques and honors, invited guests and members were rewarded with gifts and monetary support, further strengthening the bond within the association.

Cleric’s Blessings and Guidance

The event also featured a respected cleric, Alfa, who delivered inspiring preaching. He urged members to uphold honesty, unity, and dedication while warning against common challenges such as the theft of rental properties like chairs and irons. His words served as a spiritual reminder of the values needed to sustain growth in the industry.

Organizers encouraged all members to invite committed individuals into the association while stressing the importance of identifying and discouraging unserious participants.
